In 1995 Tower Promotions was born. 
Local band This Burning Effigy were 
the first band to be promoted under      
the Tower Promotions banner. The Venue 
was the, now legendary, 13th Floor, 
above Frazers (then McGrath's) 
on O'Connell Street. 

While The Tower nightclub continued, 
and gained in popularity,      
the demand for live bands became bigger. 
Tower Promotions first big event      
was the promotion of American 
cult group London After Midnight. 
The event was held in the now 
defunct Ormond Multimedia Centre 
on Ormond Quay, now the site of 
the trendy Morrisson hotel., 
on Thursday 23rd of September 1996. 
Even though the event was not 
that well attended 
the band put on a flawless 
  show and captured the audience. 

Since then Tower Promotions 
went on to promote some of 
the biggest names in the 
Gothic/Industrial/Alternative scene, 
some of which include,

New Model Army, The Levellers,
Nosferatu, Vendemmian, 
Inkubus Sukkubus, Inertia, 
Spahn Ranch, Faith And The Muse, 
Sunshine Blind 
and many more.
