Finisterre - Is over

Finisterre is back for a third round on Friday 25th July in the newly renovated basement of The Academy ingenuously called The Academy II!

Fully equipped with a new state of the art PA system and Laser lights the venue is a much needed remedy to the complacent Gothic/Metal/Industrial scene in Dublin.

Returning to the decks on the 25th is Laura Lee-Conboy from Phantom FM. Laura Lee is well known for her show on Phantom FM, Spiral Stares, which is the only radio show that consistently plays music from the darker side of the Alernative scene.

Dealing with the Metal front, Darragh from Invictus Productions is more than capable. Darragh founded Invictus Productions way back in 1999 with the intention of releasing and distributing Irish Metal acts. Since then Invictus has gained worldwide respect and distributes and releases bands for all over the globe. Darragh has DJ'd at Der Blutharsch and Whitehouse aftershows for Tower Promotions as well as one of Dublin's earliest extreme Metal clubs Valhalla and also guests in Dublin's number one Metal bar Bruxelles. more info at: http://www.invictusproductions.net/

Resident DJ Eric will also de DJ'ing on the night. Having been heavily involved in the Gothic/Industrial scene since the very early nineties you can expect new music from both genres and of course the classics from the good old days!
